Healthy eating, regardless of age, ensures the physiological development of the individual, as well as its growth. To have a quality of life is necessary to have a balanced and controlled diet rich in nutrients that help in the development of the organism. Childhood obesity is increasing in developed and developing countries, presenting a public health problem and requiring particular attention. Due to the increase in childhood obesity, this study aimed to verify the knowledge of parents, food types and the frequency with which they are offered. In addition, this paper presented research which involved parents of students emphasizing the importance of having a healthy diet to not have risks as obesity, in kindergarten. These reports about the survey found that parents encourage their children to consume healthy and often food, as well as discuss issues that permeate the food area. Finally, work with Healthy Eating and Obesity in Childhood Education is proven that we need to engage students as soon as possible, customs, needs and attitudes that enable make them aware of good nutrition that result in excellent quality and vitality, but we can only endorse the involvement of the local community, society in general and school, being very important the participation of all, because we understand that education is the basis for the formation of citizens, making them aware that obesity is a health problem that needs attention and good care of the health of the body. |
