Resumo: In the present day with the era of globalization, in the most different fields is common to search for management tools that result in a competitive advantage in the market, given that companies have increasingly invested in the development of new products seeking to stand out before their competitors. And as this is a complex and long process, the use of management information becomes a key piece for the Organization and control of the flow of information in the development of new products. Given this, the present study aims to assess the information and its management tools, to aid in the process of development in the design of new products for a packaging company in South West of Paraná. In order to achieve the objective, a bibliographic review in a semi-structured structure, with a development manager, information was collected about a project for the need of a management tool that optimizes or a flow of information between the various sectors involved in the development of Projects. Determining in this way a good communication within the organization, essential factor for its efficiency.
