How to use the heat rejected by the cooling system of a poultry slaughterhouse in Paraná's southwest. The study was conducted to evaluate the best way to reuse the heat that the cooling system of a poultry slaughterhouse rejects to the environment, which is a process required to complete the cycle of the system in any refrigeration system to allow the continuation of the process. A lot of energy is rejected permanently in cooling systems, contributing to waste of energy in industrial plants in the region. The purpose of this work is to point and contribute to avail this heat and energy wasted in the process to bring benefits to the organizations and especially to the environment. The suggestion pointed to reuse this heat is the use of high efficiency heat exchangers to allocate the heat rejected by the system to preheat the boiler water, and therefore reduce the burning of firewood, fuel used to generate heat and turn water into steam. |
