The aim of this study was to study the causes and consequences of accidents in production continues, occurred in the Industrial Unit of Birds in the period from 01/01/2013 to 31/12/2013. The methodology used was the descriptive research, survey and measurement of data by CAT (Communication Workers' Compensation) issued by the company independent of gravity, or guilt of the causes of accidents. The Industrial Unit Birds theme of study is located in Paraná with a slaughtering capacity of 80,000 (eighty thousand) birds per day. Data were collected only from these sectors are operating, reception of birds, hanging, bleeding, scalding, plucking, evisceration, cooling, packaging, freezing, storing and shipping. The data were provided by the Human Resources sector of the company and for the treatment of these were used spreadsheets and graphs using specific software. Based on the values found in the results reveal a total of 23 accidents that generated from the measurable criteria, an expenditure of 3033.44 In some cases serious accidents were recorded significant that in addition to high financial costs borne by the company impacts the company's image negatively in front of customers, suppliers and society. |
