This paper shows the design and implementation about a Respiratory Protection Program - PPR in a Poultry Industry Department / Hanging in a Poultry Fridge. The program has knowledge about the ambiental risks that exist in the workplace,emphasizing the chemical agents, the evaluation propose which one personal protective equipment is most appropriate to the job, proposals for collective protection, among others. Also this program sets the way to do testing the sealing respirators, called Fit Test, that check if the EPI is sealed or not. Medical procedures relative to the program are also presented, which define the actions to be taken in each situation during the exception. The medical evaluations must happen in the pre-employment examination, periodic assessments, dismissals, return to work and change in functions. It’s in this medical check ups that can be found health problems as if the employee is able or not to use the respirator. The program besides helping in the prevention of occupational diseases, also obey the legal determination, when the requirement as development and implementation. |
