The need to seek investments appropriate to the reality of the company is something everyday in the lives of managers, for this there are several tools that can be used to assist in this process. The objective of this work is to define which factors influence the decision making process of MPE managers participating in the Aluminum APL of the Southwest of Paraná. In order to do so, the feasibility indexes commonly addressed in the literature for this process were initially presented conceptually and conceptually. It was studied by a multisite study in four companies participating in the Arrangement, collecting information with the managers. Through the interview it was noticed that there is little use of these instruments that could facilitate and aid the decision making process. O presente trabalho teve como temática análise de investimentos. A necessidade de buscar investimentos adequados à realidade da empresa é algo cotidiano na vida dos gestores, para isso existem diversas ferramentas que podem ser utilizadas para auxiliar nesse processo. O objetivo desse trabalho é definir quais fatores que influenciam o processo de tomada de decisão dos gestores de MPEs participantes do APL do Alumínio do Sudoeste do Paraná. Para tanto, inicialmente foram apresentados teoricamente e conceitualmente os índices de viabilidade comumente abordados na literatura para esse processo.Optou-se por um estudo multicasos em quatro empresas participantes do Arranjo, coletando informações com os gestores.
