This research aims to generate the first concepts in the researcher about the theme "Performance evaluation of corporate social responsibility". Thus, to reach this objective the work shows the selection process of the portfolio bibliographic and also the bibliometric analysis of the selected papers and their references. In the bibliometric analysis was evidenced the papers, authors and journals most relevant about the theme performance evaluation of corporate social responsibility. The work is characterized as exploratory and descriptive
using qualitative and quantitative approach. The methodology "Knowledge Development Process - Constructivist (ProKnow-C)" was chose because it's a tool that shows a structured procedure that can be used as support to the researcher in the process of literature review. The main results of this research are: (i) the most important author related to the topic is Cory Searcy that has
two papers in the selected sample, the first is "Corporate sustainability ratings:
an investigation into how corporations use the Dow Jones Sustainability Index”
and the another is “An analysis of indicators disclosed in corporate sustainability reports”, (ii) the most relevant journal related to the theme is "Journal of Cleaner Production" with three papers and (iii) the most important paper in the portfolio bibliographic is "Measuring corporate social performance in France: A critical and empirical analysis of ARESE" with 24 quotes. Therefore, this research
contributes with the theme performance evaluation of corporate according to the
literature review developed. |
