The neighborhood of Acupe has undergone a process of urban expansion that is a reflection of real estate speculation. This work aims to identify the changes that took place in the Acupe District, due to the urban expansion in the region, through the use of geoprocessing. Vectorization of satellite images from the years 2006, 2012 and 2018 was carried out. A synthesis map was then created with the evolution of the urban occupation and the reduction of green areas in the neighborhood. In this way, we intend to show the importance of using geoprocessing as a tool for spatial analysis and making comparative maps of this evolution of urban occupation, which may be satisfactory for the monitoring of this expansion and its representation. |
