Brazil is a country with great agricultural potential, favored by its geographical position, all Brazilian states have a part of its economy based on agriculture, it is a variety of activities, but predominantly from agricultural activities, cattle and / or swine . Livestock generates a lot of waste, which can be availed energy. By treatment of desires in digesters, anaerobic bacteria produce biogas, which can be used as fuel for power generation. An alternative to large-scale power generation is the combination of these properties nearby, forming so-called charges of Agro-energy, with a goal of accumulating the produced biogas and use in power generation, however, is still scarce studies on the financial viability of such projects. Briefly analyzing the gradual increase of electricity consumption in Brazil, this study is justified on the need to reconcile the Social, Economic and Environmental, where there was the possibility of power generation, through biodigesters installation in seven pigs and cattle properties, which are located in São Miguel do Iguaçu, to reduce the environmental impact, odors from farms, improve the quality of life of farm owners and neighbors and use the biogas generated in digesters to produce energy electricity to meet the needs of the properties. Were carried out some research into the field to survey the necessary information in the feasibility study. Using the simple payback tool for financial return, the study found a roughly 22 months return on investment, making it therefore feasible. Several studies are needed regarding charges of Agroenergia therefore many variables in these projects and cannot be used the same methodology in other cases . |
