Resumo: The we and occupation of the gronwn without appropiate are afecting directle the invironment and the quality of life of the population, generating many problems of environmental consideration, social, and economic. In this context, the aim of this work was to make a socio-environmental analysis of the community that lives in the invironment of basin, creek. The methodology was based in a descriptive reaserch which aims to observe, to register, and anylise the data obtained in the analyse of the secondary data and qualitative data. Visits were made in loco in the basin region in order to identify socio-ambiental questions needed for the elavoration of the questionare (Appendix A). The collecting of datas was made through secundary survey data and the application of 87 questionnaires that approached on social and environmental profile of neighborhoods residents belonging to Parque Ouro Verde neighborhoods, Morenitas I and II. It can be concluded that the community living around basin Ouro Verde stream with many socio-ambiental problems. It was verified that the highest it number of complaints was 60,92% related to torrents, 27,59% of residents dont’ it awn collector networks of sewage and the most warrisome is the fate of this sewage, at once, 24,14% own the river as a destination of sewage “in natura” and 3,45% own pit 32,20% opresidents own in the maximum until erghth series of fundamental teaching and from 87 families reaserched, 48% survive with up to a minimum wage per month. It’s concluded that in search of minimiting the many ambiental problems suffred by the community, residents should share the actions and chage the behavior in relation to the problems that have accurred in the region, in order to promote the cooperation of the comunity in the recovery of the region.
