This work was subject to American cutaneous leishmania incidence, a disease that occurs when the genus Leishmania protozoa are introduced into the skin of the people by the bite of an insect, causing wounds, the disease is infectious and parasitic of high importance to public health and the environment environmental, having an important effect on the American continent, especially in South America, especially in Brazil, which always recorded many cases of the disease in the north and northeast of the country. The concern is that this reality is changing, this disease which has always been typical of areas covered by forest vegetation, has been recorded many cases in southern and southeastern regions which predominate grazing culture, so a disease that has always controlled forest environment is changes and makes their prevention and control and that is aggravated due to the lack of population knowledge about the disease. American cutaneous leishmania is experiencing high incidence in the state of Paraná cities, mainly nororeste state to the city of Icaraíma-Pr, the city has about 10,000 inhabitants and in 2013, had the incidence rate of the disease 1.0 for every thousand inhabitants. |
