The present work had the objective to show how the solid waste management in an airport can be compared to the waste management in a city and the importance of these planning in both airport ground support and cities. For that, were take into consideration that a city is a heterogeneous place with many different environments which have their own dynamics and are connected to each other. We used the methodology of bibliographic reviewing by means of quantity and descriptive method. The topics ‘urban planning’, ‘urban diversity and its environments’, ‘environmental legislation for solid waste and for airports’, the ‘Plan for Solid Waste Management in Curitiba’s International Airport Pena’ and its analysis were approached in this work. The aimed of the analysis of the Plan for Solid Waste Management in the airport was to diagnose the current situation of the waste and point the actions which should be implanted for a suitable and lawful management. The cities also need to elaborate their Plans for Solid Waste Management because besides helping with the planning, they foment a quality management. |
