This study concentrates on the implementation process of the sewage in the Caboré Quarter in Forest City of Saint John-BA. The rights of the population are guaranteed by legal provisions, despite the guarantees established by law, there is still a distance to universalization of these rights. Through this research, interviewing the residents, we found lack of knowledge and participation of the population in the neighborhood of sewage deployment process. It is noteworthy that the government has created mechanisms to encourage community participation, and municipal management is acting in order to seek investments for implementation of policies, programs and actions. |
