A common feature of any city is the destination of a large volume of solid waste with the most diverse characteristics. Recycling is a raw material reuse technique and environmentally proper disposal of municipal solid waste and also promotes action for social development. Given that the municipal selective collection is an important tool for recycling processes, and of great value to conservation and environmental protection this paper seeks to carry out an analysis of the Selective Collection Program of Cruzeiro do Oeste – PR with a focus on its management, with the premise of identifying potential weaknesses, propose solutions and improvements in its management, as well as providing bases for further studies. |
