This study was to analyze the public policy issue of Exceptional Drug Dispensing in the city of Jandira . The principles of the Brazilian Unified Health System ( SUS ) include : universality , equity and integrity in health care for the population . Medications are important elements of some therapeutic regimens covered by SUS . The Ordinance of the Ministry of Health ( GM / MS 254 ) the government established the requirement for dispensing drugs to patients who were chronic users of certain drugs from 1999. Data were provided by the local Department of Health analysis of data indicates that the Drug Program Exceptional Circumstance , although an action of undoubted merit in protecting the population's income and promoting integrity in serving public patients still presents coverage well below the projected estimate of patients in case of selected morbidities in the study. The program could be one tool in the reduction of litigation by the SUS , however , due to low spread , still has low efficacy . |
