This work aims to restructure the physical and logical network of cloth Clothes powder company, eliminating cascading switches and hubs and also segmenting the network by sectors, the segmentation of the network, reduce unnecessary network traffic and increase performance and security, allowing for more efficient control, limiting broad-casts. Proper logical division allows only the responsible officials, have access to cer-tain information and applications. The cascade generates slow access for clients and Internet information, greatly increasing the amount and collisions on the network and information loss. It suggests the replacement of cables by category 4 CAT6 cables that are recommended by the standard and has a better communication with optical fiber and can be used in Gigabit networks. With the increase of the company structure, and the uncontrolled growth of the network, it was found the need to deploy a network with structured cabling, if the network was structured with all the identified network points, and managed by software, failures and bottlenecks could be identified in advance. |
