Resumo: The present work aims to describe the prototyping (WEB layer and drives) of a system in which one can control the devices belonging to a residence, with the aim of providing the residents with such advantages as: comfort, economy of time, energy economy and safety. These four items presented can be considered as pillars in the development of a smart home. The area of knowledge responsible for the study and development of intelligent houses is known as Domotics (a junction between the Latin word "domus" and the word "robotics"). The scope of the developed system will extend from the creation of a webservice to perform the communication between the house (actuator systems and controllers) and the user-home automation system interface. The prototype presented has an application - which performs the interface function between the user and the web server. This is responsible for making the link between information of the actors involved in the process (controller and user system). The controller system consists of a raspberry pi 3, connected to the internet and his function is to process received messages from both, the actuator system and the web system (responsible for managing the exchange of messages remotely). On the actuator side, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) was used. Considering the scope of a complete residential automation system, this work is a prototyping and will not take into account, in its practical part, the reading of sensors and the programming used by the CLP (This will be treated here as black box).
