Resumo: In the MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) process of coating with mechanic decorative paper, it is applied using the static energy as an element for joining one material in the other. The wood panel and paper are transporting to the main equipment, the Press, in which both are "fused" forming the MDF coated panel wood. For the coat needs to be a lot of pressure, around 30 up to 40 kg/cm² and temperatures reaching 220ºC in the press plates. The static energy application efficiency can bring higher line availability, increase in product quality and prevent the generation of waste paper with loss. This paper discusses the stages of complete industrial process, presenting the various peculiarities of this important field of activity.
