Several management systems have been established based on international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, OHSAS 18001, etc. These standards present requirements to be implemented by organizations seeking certifications to meet internal or external demands. In order to optimize the use of resources (human, financial, technical, etc.), many organizations strategically are looking for Integrated Management Systems (IMS), and when there is more than one site, they seek to unify management processes opting for integrated multisite certifications, with the purpose of improving performance, sharing operational and management practices and standardizing the management. In this sense, the objective of this work is to demonstrate the use of the A3 methodology in the treatment of problems and risks inherent to the implementation and maintenance of IMS multisite management of Environment and Health and Occupational Safety for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications. The risks identified are those that in many cases lead SGI multisite to failure. Failure to do so is not recommended for certification of the management system (s) after the third party audit process or even the loss of existing certification. The chosen form for the purpose of this work was the methodology A3, using the seven stages of the matrix to demonstrate the risks and the proposals of actions to achieve the specific desired results ensuring the success of the proposed objective applied to the most commonly encountered difficulties and that lead to failure. The main identified risks are associated with the various requirements of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, so a containment measure has been proposed for each identified risk. In identifying risks and taking preventive action, it expected that risk does not become a problem. |
