Resumo: In this work some of the proposed alterations to the biddings law and the relevant aspects that move to this changes will be discussed. Whereas the law was created 23 years ago and socio-economic conditions at that time were different, therewith, this search aims to respond whether this law is dated and inoperative, considering the principles that are the legal framework for it. Initially, a bibliographical review was conducted through using laws, manuals, reports and newspapers, for the knowledge of the bidding experiences in Brazil, involving questions like methodologies, models or techniques. Based on the research, some points relevant to the bidding law in the present day were observed and raised, as well as the proposed changes to this legislation that are addressed in the present work, such as: Lower price, better technique and technique and price; The change in integrated contracting. Phase inversion is a positive point, once it has as main objective the debureaucratization of the bidding process. Changes in integrated contracting aim at a decentralization of the biddings, and with this, more companies benefit from the contract with a public administration.
