Resumo: This approach seeks to establish a relationship between management practice related to People Management associated with knowledge management, which involves learning,creativity, intuition and tacit and explicit knowledge. Knowledge management is thus linked to the ability of the companies to utilize and combine the various sources and types of organizational knowledge to develop specific skills and innovative capacity, which translates permanently in new products, processes, management systems, and market leadership. Within organizations become an increasingly about growth strategy of many companies invest heavily in achieving a high standard and keep their employees on the job longer. Due to high rates of work-related accidents , absenteeism and other problems directly related to the health of these employees, the company object of this study deserves attention for its boldness in implementing a management system where the main focus is not the quantity produced but the maid quality in production efforts. A systemic vision aligned with the mission and vision of the company. This work is a case study in a food company, reporting management strategies of knowledge to improve working conditions in the maintenance sector, seeking the safety of employees in their activities. The ratio of the working groups and their improvement opportunities highlighting the internal rules of the company as a basis, aimed at implementation of routine maintenan ce work. The implementation of an integrated system maintenance control, combined with training management and conduct new employee.
