Whereas individuals spend most of their lives in an organization, the need arises to seek an adequate quality of life as well as healthy eating behaviors. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the relationship of dietary habits with the quality of life of workers in a company providing energy. To develop the research quality of life as measured by a questionnaire of quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF), and dietary intake assessed by a food frequency questionnaire were evaluated. The results showed a population that mostly reported owning a good quality of life, but with a diet that requires changes in some aspects, such as reduction in the frequency of intake of sugar-sweetened beverages and increased frequency of consumption of fruits and pulses, to prevent the development of chronic diseases and balancing quality of life. However, future studies are needed to more detailed data, allowing comparisons with possible parameters of recommendation. |
