Resumo: The sawmills are classified as large companies occupational risk to their employees, because they have activities that required high physical effort, many cutters, long working hours, lack of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and unhealthy environments. One of the main agents found in sawmills is unhealthy noise. The exposure of a worker to noise can cause temporary and permanent hearing disorders and cause increased heart rate, loss of mental concentration and irritability, thereby contributing to the increased rate of accidents resulting from work. This research aimed to examine the occupational noise exposure at a move sawmill de Irati - PR. The same has been developed in the form of a case study on a mobile sawmill, located on Farm Elizau Zampieri, Assungi district, the population was assessed three workers. The sawmill was brand Lucas Mill, activities presented by risk level 3. The study was divided into three stages: A - supply of logs; B - split the wood, and C - Removal of products. At each step took place the measurement of noise levels in the workplace. The measurement was made throughout the workday (8am). For each measurement was used dosimeter brand TES, TES-1355 model. The instrument parameters were adjusted according to NR-15. First, an analysis of measurement results without considering the use and attenuation of hearing protection equipment to determine the unsanitary areas. Then checked the protection measures adopted by the company and the unhealthiness, if present, was neutralized. In steps B and C there was a high value of sound pressure level, with dose above the tolerance limit. Justifying the need for the use of EPI in the development of their activities. One of the control measures suggested is to conduct training and promote regular maintenance of equipment.
