Resumo: |
Safety engineering is responsible not only for preventing accidents, but also for ensuring well-being and reducing the causes of diseases that can be developed by employees within the work environment. The methodological approach consisted of a quantitative and qualitative research composed by a review of the literature and the case study itself. The theoretical basis is substantiated on efforts to use the Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NBRs) to define the best measurement and illuminance standards. Increasing or decreasing luminance levels, replacing lighting devices and even the proper use of windows are suggested solutions so that the integrity of students and workers is not crank and also resulting in better performance. At the end, the work opens possibilities for the continuity of the research on the subject addressed. |
