The potential contribution of information technology to organizational management in general has been recognized. Especially with regard to health and safety at work, which constitutes a factor of performance to be incorporated into business management, the application of information systems is of great value. However, the realization of this potential aiming at identifying the parameters to prioritize has been problematic. In this context, the objective of this work is to propose a method for evaluating new and emerging risks in the context of health and safety at work, presenting with the use of information technology, a mobile application (SafetyMob) designed in conjunction with a web platform. This system has the purpose of improving the performance of management in occupational health and safety, interacting with all administrative and productive services, thus contributing to and reducing occupational accidents and diseases. The methodological approach consisted of exploratory, quantitative and qualitative research, as well as a review of the literature on the different models of information technology (IT) management, with discussion of techniques for measuring, diagnosing and predicting efficiency in the use of IT in company. |
