Resumo: This study deals with the search of better working conditions for employees and the reduction of occupational diseases related to noise, responsible for much of the clearances in the industry. The study aims to analyze the changes in the noise levels of production areas from the years 2008 and 2012, which were analyzed in total of fifty-five sectors between the areas of manufacturing pig and chicken. In this period were created from nineteen sectors of the market needs which led to the expansion of the area, as well as disabling the area turkey. The verification of the quality of protection (PPE) available to employees outside fundamental, considered by them as the only means of protection provided by the food company. Were identified between the years analyzed in some sectors were no significant changes in the level of noise and in other situations where even with the use of protective equipment the risk was higher than the level considered safe according to regulatory standards (NR). Participation in the areas of job security was essential to collect data through the decibel meter and check and update the auditory training program used by the company, and the area of ergonomics to the survey can be continued through training and guidance to employees about the importance of the topic.
