The Open Digital Resource (REA- as in Portuguese) – Introduction to the Study of Vectors - was developed having concept maps design as main methodological base. According to Moreira1, "as long as students use concept maps to integrate, reconcile and differentiate concepts (...) they will be using the concept mapping as a learning resource." Together with the presentation of a conceptual map on vectors, aiming to briefly review the concepts, this REA presents the basic vector properties, graphical addition (Parallelogram Rule and Polygon Rule), and a practical exemplar situation, a demonstration with the ‘force table’, witch reinforces the comprehension about vectors. |
