Resumo: The present work aims to study the energy consumption of an industry and develop a photovoltaic plant as a way to reach the goal of using 100% renewable energy by 2025 and reduce the productivity losses caused by the lack of energy of the contracted utility. Based on an industry located in the city of Lages in Santa Catarina, a photovoltaic plant was designed, respecting all standards for the dimensioning of power and protection items. With a maximum generation of approximately 4000MWh per month. Generating energy and productive benefits, consequently achieving a gain of approximately R$7 million per year in the implementation of the plant, reducing environmental impacts and increasing the use of renewable energy in Brazilian soil.
