The search of alternative methods to teach, encouraging and motivating students is constant. Today, technologies of informartion and comunication, specifically digital technology of information and communication tech, are manifesting themselves in various media vehicles, interfaces and in different age groups of users, although these same users are not affected at all in the egalitarian way. It’s believed that in the contemporary technological level of society, it is necessary to bring digital media into the classroom in order to have a closer environment to the reality of society. There should also be more incorporated and updated classroom on advance information, where the teacher will be directly responsible for the learning of students. In this way, the video platform YouTube can become an aid tool in Science Education in Elementary School II. The use of videos on the “Manual do Mundo” channel becomes an alternative since the videos of the platform is part of the daily life of students belonging to either the Z generation or the Alpha generation. Linked to a good theoretical background, the use of videos can be effective in the classroom, with the aim of explaining the concepts of science teaching. In this way, it will be created a catalogue in which videos of the “Manual do Mundo” relate to the content stipulated by the “Base Nacional Comum Curricular”. |
