In the meantime, the present study addresses scientific dissemination as enhancement of scientific culture, to the detriment of the recurrent discredit to science denounced by the cuts in scientific-technological research and education. Thus, we aim at actions that contribute to incorporate the general society into the academic environment, corroborating a better understanding of the activities developed in the institutions. Therefore, the objective of this work is to evaluate Pint of Science in 15 cities of Southern Brazil, which are Alegrete, Bento Gonçalves, Blumenau, Criciuma, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Foz do Iguaçu, Joinville, Londrina, Maringá, Novo Hamburgo, Passo Fundo, Porto Alegre, Santa Maria and Ponta Grossa, as an effective tool for scientific dissemination in non-formal environments. The methodology used was mixed, qualitative and quantitative, and exploratory; Form and questionnaire were used to collect data. It acquired a qualitative character as it sought to interpret the effectiveness of the festival as a means of disseminating science, and outlining possibilities for better use of the festival. It was configured as quantitative through the specific objectives that require the survey and description of data about the festival's popularity in Ponta Grossa, Paraná and the analysis of the profile of the audience that participated in the festival in the cities of southern Brazil. The present research related the data obtained with other festival reports, aiming to contribute to improvements for the next events. Finally, we sought to find possible solutions provided by the festival in science education that corroborate the demystification of science, and favor the development of scientific culture. O Pint of Science surgiu em 2012 em Londres e hoje é o maior evento de divulgação científica em ambiente não formal, ocorrendo anualmente em bares e pub’s do mundo todo, simultaneamente em três noites seguidas. Neste ínterim, o presente estudo aborda a divulgação científica como aprimoramento da cultura científica, em detrimento ao recorrente descrédito à ciência denunciada pelos cortes na pesquisa científico-tecnológica e em educação. Assim, visam-se ações que contribuam para incorporar a sociedade geral ao ambiente acadêmico, corroborando para uma melhor compreensão das atividades desenvolvidas nas instituições. Logo, objetiva-se neste trabalho avaliar Pint of Science em 15 cidades do Sul do Brasil sendo estas Alegrete, Bento Gonçalves, Blumenau, Criciúma, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Foz do Iguaçu, Joinville, Londrina, Maringá, Novo Hamburgo, Passo Fundo, Porto Alegre, Santa Maria e Ponta Grossa, como ferramenta efetiva da divulgação científica em ambientes não formais. A metodologia utilizada foi mista, do tipo quali-quantitativa, e de caráter exploratório; foram utilizados formulário e questionário para coleta de dados. Adquiriu caráter qualitativo na medida em que se buscou interpretar sobre a efetividade do festival como meio de divulgação da ciência, e ao se delinear possibilidades para melhor aproveitamento do festival. Configurou-se como quantitativa por meio dos objetivos específicos que requerem o levantamento e descrição de dados acerca da popularidade do festival em Ponta Grossa, Paraná e a análise do perfil do público que participou do festival nas cidades do sul do Brasil. Com a presente pesquisa, relacionou-se os dados obtidos com outros relatos do festival, visando contribuir para melhorias para os próximos eventos.
