This paper presents a theoretical study about The Implicit Function Theorem on Rn from the perspective of Mathematical Analysis, as introduced in the Calculus of Real Functions with n variables course, and aims to study the underlying theory for this result as well as to present its proof. In order to achieve this, the paper is sectioned in two chapters. The fi rst chapter brings in the topological notions of the Rn space which are needed for the study, whereas the second chapter brings in some results related to the functions of n variables which are needed in order to understand the conditions for the Implicit Function Theorem and prove it. Afterwards, in the same chapter, the theorem is stated and proved. |
