This paper is characterized by the development of an optimization model with evolutionary algorithm to minimize the distance traveled in the sequencing of machine transport in the forest business unit of a pulp and paper company. One of the main costs of paper production is the wood, and in the composition costs this raw material, the main one is transportation, it is always necessary to seek for excellence in this type operation. After the construction model, a company database is used with all the times and data necessary for test modeling. To identify the best machine transport sequencing, the algorithm it build in Visual Basic Application in Excel 2013. The use of algorithm allowed an increase 4,5% in adherence to transport schedules and gains qualitatives in the process. |
