Resumo: In a context where the Wood Frame construction system shows itself as a technologically innovative method, it becomes relevant to seek knowledge of the best practices for its use. These investigations make a better understanding of the system possible and can boost its use in the country. Therefore, this paper aims to comparatively evaluate two sealing techniques of Wood Frame system used by different companies in national territory. For such purpose, the research made use of prototypes located in the city of Toledo-PR, which enabled the investigation of temperatures during a certain period. Thus, after statistically analyzing the data by analysis of variance, ANOVA, and Tukey test, it becomes clear that the difference between the prototypes was only significant for the minimum temperatures and in the period in which the prototypes were thermally insulated with 5 cm thickness of glass wool. So, in the majority of the cases presented, the variation between the two techniques did not result in a significant difference at the level of significance of 0,05. However, it is given emphasis to the importance of the study of new constructive systems that show themselves potentially favorable to a higher quality of the buildings associated with the reduction of the impacts caused to the environment.
