Resumo: The assurance of accessibility in the bult spaces allows the acess and use of the environments by all af the people, by an autonomus and safety way. According to federal decree 5296/04, established as basic references for arquitetonics Projects design, the techinal rules of ABNT, in addition to the pertinent legislation. In this regard, fourteen medical services units were evaluated in the city of Toledo, with the aim of verifying if the buildings accepted of the accessibility space conditions, mainly through the standards of NBR 9050:2015. In spite of the article has been aplicated in the medical units, the common using areas of all the public buildings were studied: the access areas, reception and waiting room, circulation and the accessible restrooms. To make it Worth, a technical evaluation sheet was developed to each áreas in studying. From the local study, the accessbility compliance rate were (IC) determined, and the results obtained were: 33,33% compliance to access áreas, 39,19% for reception and waintg room, 55,34% for circulation, and 50,60% for accessible restrooms. In general, were ealuated 1559 items, consisting of 711 compliant and 848 not corresponding. The percentages of attendance for the accessbility components were also evaluated (orientation, communication, moving and use), in relation to these ones, the component with the highest compliance rate were the deslocation, with 75,12%. However, the componente related to communication weren´t complianced in any units. With the study, it were identified the positives topics and the main inconsistence regarding to the main reference rule used. It was also observed that, even in related of the characteristics and partilarities of each building, it was possible the identify physical barriers common to all the units in study.
