Resumo: This paper’s intention is to investigate, analyze and highlight the necessary aspects for the development of a didactic-pedagogical material for teachers and students, from 6th to 9th grade, rescuing the historical-scientific and biographical context of the following scientists: Marie Curie, Maria Sibylla Merian, Rosalind Franklin and Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin. In addition to the fact that women in science are not very contextualized in scientific literacy and dissemination, it is noteworthy that materials are not developed on a way that it can be worked on. Due to this, the promotion of scientific dissemination of women’s practice, as well as informing and contextualizing the evolution of science also helps in female empowerment. This search and rescue for evidence, even though late, of the female contribution to science is a way of recognizing the importance of their work and research by and for science. The correction of such an unfair historical deviation from the nuances of science and the scientist who contributed to is development is inevitable. Thus the research here mentioned will take place in an exploratory and bibliographic way, focused on reading texts related to scientific dissemination in the contribution of the woman scientist in the development of science and the contents addressed in textbooks used in the classroom. Qualitative and quantitative data was used for the development of the research. Taking into consideration the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC) and the Curriculum Guidelines of Paraná, a synchronization between what is seen in the classroom and how this content can be approached through the use of the historical context of science is proven to exist.
