Resumo: Soccer is one of the sports that can mobilize thousands of people who cheer and thrill through their clubs. However, some fans have violent behaviors, attitudes usually demonstrated in the form of rivalry between the fans. As a preventive measure, the Federal Government, in 2009, created the Cool Crowd Project, which promises to increase security and reduce cases of violence inside and outside the stadiums, by registering the fans with data (photo, digital and ID) and installing cameras in the stadiums and their surroundings to monitor the fans, making it easier to identify the “bad” fans. The individual who commits an infraction, which violates the right and conduct of the supporter, will be punished properly. However, although the bill was approved, it was only on paper and was not put into practice. The objective of this research was to analyze the opinion of the fans, trying to identify if they believe that the project could help reduce violence cases in soccer if it was put into practice. It is a quantitative research of descriptive nature that counted on 210 participants, of both sexes and adults, chosen of random way in public places of the city of Curitiba/PR, between these places is the Federal Technological University of the Paraná. The data collection was done through a questionnaire containing 7 closed questions. The data are tabulated by percentage frequency and converted into graphs using the Excel program and then analyzed based on the theoretical reference. With the results, we identify, minimally, how it is to violence in the Brazilian stadiums and, with this, we manage to list the motives that distract the fans of the arenas, proposing measures to solve these problems. We can conclude that the Cool Crowd Project could have a reduction in cases of violence if it were put into practice. We recommend that further studies be carried out on the subject and that the safety measures proposed in the project be put into practice.
