Resumo: This work highlights the aplicability of Slow Abdominal Breathing (SAB) as a non-drug alternative to anxiety relief and its potential allied to physical exercise, in order to identify the SAB effect on anxiety, mood and interoception of Pilates Method Apparatus. The study population was consisted of 9 participants who performed a protocol that consisted in a Pilates Apparatus session of 50 minutes preceded by 7 minutes of SAB execution, questionnaire apllication, interview and evaluation of interoception, succeeded by applying the same questionnaire and interview. The data were analyzed through methodology Knowledge Discovery in Databases in Supervised Learnings, by the classification technique with algorithm development a priori for association rules of the main study results, through software GNU WEKA. The association rules pointed out patterns for anxiety relief sensations as triggers of high intensity happiness and sense of usefulness and individual ability as a consequence of developing focus, concentration and well-being, besides finding that strongly active students looking for Pilates for recreation and have the potential to develop interoception due to higher level of body awareness. It is concluded that SAB and Pilates Method have effects on anxiety control, because it decreases their symptoms and demonstrates predictive patterns for anxiety relief and well-being based on class methodology focused on leisure.
