Resumo: |
During the twentieth century, a very turbulent historical epoch, we have the emergence of great and expressive characters that these days make people scream with excitement in movie theaters. The historical context is completely consistent with the characters that appeared in them, with a cohesive and thin line. Can we take advantage of this connection we have created with the past when we have hero films nowadays responsible for the world’s biggest box office? There are countless possibilities presented in many areas of knowledge, but in this paper the focus is primarily on the idea of Cultural History, for our greater understanding of how comic books do not fit in our niche. Characters such as Captain America and Superman reflect their emergence passages in history and it is through representation that this becomes possible and intelligible. We will focus especially on addressing contemporary topics through comics, selecting especially two very expressive examples of two very important characters in the course of the development of heroes in history. The question that will guide us will be: How can we use comic books actively and reflexively on contemporary topics? And we will try to answer it more practically through a lesson plan proposal that actively and reflexively utilizes Comics. The work will be divided into three chapters, the first will bring the discussion of fundamental concepts for the development of the deeper subjects. In the second chapter will play the role of further development of the historical context itself of the emergence of such expressive characters within the comics. Concluding with the third and last chapter where we will highlight the comics chosen to understand how contemporary topics are represented and then propose the lesson plan. Authors such as Peter Burke, Sean Purdy, Roger Chartier and Dutra are essential pillars for the research. |
