Migration flows are not recent, but it’s in recent times that they begin to play a very important role in the agendas of cultural, social, political and economic discussions at States. In recent decades, Brazil has been receiving a large number of foreigners of different nationalities who migrate from their countries in search of new opportunities in this country. Among the different nationalities stand, nationals of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, who go to Brazil for border of the Brazilian state of Roraima and moving to different cities like Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. Immigrant people who are gradually arriving in the southern region, choose Curitiba for the opportunities it offers, which is why it is becoming one of the cities that most welcomes migrants from this country. With the increasing arrival of Venezuelans in the capital of Paraná, it is necessary to create public policies that can allow Curitiba to move forward in placing foreigners in the labor market. In the present study, an assessment was made of the current employment insertion of venezuelan immigrants in the city of Curitiba according to the public policies of the region, focused on the description and explanation of the processes and forms of labor insertion of immigrants in the region, through documentary and empirical research, using the stories of immigrants and the experience of a participatory observation. Described us the existing public policies for the labor insertion of foreign workers, challenges that both the immigrants and the public agents represent their job insertion and was created some possibilities to improve and guarantee the right of immigrants to get a formal job, working jointly with services offered by the government and civil society. |
