Resumo: |
This research aims to demonstrate how non-profit associations and social institutions, also called the third sector, can lead the local economy and sustainable regional development in the municipality of São Bento do Sul -SC. With the implementation of the 1988 Constitution, laws and regulations were defined só that civil society associations, or non-profit companies, or the third sector could establish a new relationship that should contribute to improving the quality of life and sustainable human development. From 1991 to 2010, human development indices showed an increase in the city of São Bento do Sul – SC, concomitantly observing these data and indices, the increase in the number of social associations in the municipality, the number of job increases, increase income and the increase in resources made available, which needs an improvement in human development and poverty reduction indices. Judging from the fact that the elements were closed during the pandemic, the resources used were data and information available on the websites of research institutes. But research shows that even indicators showing an improvement in development rates, if there is no other data together, the State will carry out public policies ineffectively, increasing the waste of resources and not contributing to local development. |
