The following study presents the development of a device that transmits the current time to user, without the need of vision, to assist management of daily tasks. The device has an interface that enables the user to make time adjustments. Also has an interface that uses tact in order to transmit to the user the current time when requested. During study the ADVT (Associação dos Deficientes Visuais de Toledo, or in English, Toledo Visual Impairment Association) was fundamental in the validation of proposed idea. The device guidelines are user-friendly interfaces and low cost. |
