The main objective of this work is to analyze the soil structure interaction a multi-floor building using finite element analysis with Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional software. The project consists of comparing two methods of soil structure interaction: traditionally using indescribable links, such as ball joints or embellishments and using the consideration of elastic supports. The consideration of elastic supports is a method that represents each degree of freedom of the foundation through a single spring or a set of them, in order to obtain with more precision the interaction behavior. In this project, linear continuous elastic bonding was used, and the results, compared to the crimping bonding, were as expected: in spring modeling efforts were more moderate, that is, closer to reality. It is concluded that the structural analysis of soil structure interaction, the use of computational software, proposes a considerable efficiency in the structure calculations. |
