The operational amplifiers feature applications in the areas of instrumentation, control systems, voltage and current regulation systems, signal processing, among others. This applications are used in medical equipament, capital goods in the telecommunications sector and in several others. For the development of a competitive component, it is necessary to create a simple and functional model first. From then on study your behavior in small signals and how the circuit will react with inserting new blocks in your project. As most CMOS operating amplifiers are designed to be used as part of a VLSI circuit, their application result in less stringent specifications, simplifying the circuit and occupying a smaller area in silicon. This course completion work has as its theme the design and analysis of an integrated circuit of the type 741 operational amplifier. The project was developed in the Microwind software, using basic dimensionings provided in the literature and subsequently analyzing how the circuit would behave with the alteration of this dimensionings. |
