The presenting work of conclusion course approaches the production system of a storagement systems company. This study intends to optimize the manufacturing process through the production flow analysis and a chrono-analysis, followed by a solution proposal to the pallet rack’s manufacturing line. The methodology applied is a quantitative research, gathering data to evaluate the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) directly on the pallet rack’s production line, but also a qualitative research with an observation from the production line and improvement projects for manufacturing control to be implemented. As results, it was demonstrated that the data gathering directly from the production line allows the identification of the most critical issues to obtain significant improvements ideas to rework reduction and lower scrap rates at the paletes rack’s manufacturing line. |
