Resumo: With pressure from a competitive market, which demands renewal, quality and environmental and social responsibility, construction companies demonstrate an increasing interest in management system certifications. The Integrated Management System seeks to incorporate the process management standards, facilitating their implementation. Thus, this work has the objective of analyzing the potential of SGI implementation in the construction standards, through a bibliographic review based on books, standards, legislation, certifications and academic work. The analysis phases were: To conceptualize the market management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001), identify the types of certificates that enrich the entrepreneur and aggregate the management system, such as The Brazilian Quality Program and Habitat Productivity (PBQP-H), LEED, AQUA, Selo Caixa Azul, highlighted how legislation applied and finally, an analysis of how the benefits of an SGI become differential of productivity and competitiveness. The main advantages were the stabilization and optimization of processes, reduction of bureaucracy, waste of natural resources and accidents, reduction of the execution rate of a work, as well as its final cost, becoming an excellent strategy for construction companies looking for innovation of the market.
