Resumo: This work consists of a study on chono-analysis in the area of kitting (preparation of sets of parts to facilitate the assembly process), performed at an automotive assembly plant. The general objective is to seek the possibility of a methodology of measurement of times and movements performed in this area kitting, to obtain the standard times of these movements. In addition to the survey of the standard times, also recognize the operation of the area. The need for the methodology is influenced by the application of the lean manufacturing tool known as Plan For Each Peace (PFEP), also known as the plan for each part. The analyzes of the times and movements were made through video recordings executed in three different time shots, beginning, middle and end of the shift in two shifts of the three shifts in the factory, later trea ted statistically in spreadsheets, where graphs were generated. To validate the results obtained, an already existing chronoanalysis tool known as the Industrial Chronoanalysis Table was used. Thus, the results obtained between the two methods were compared, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each methodology. It can be seen that the methodology is valid, however, it was identified the need for a more specific study regarding operator fatigue. The final result presented a spreadsheet with the times of collection, "kitagem", displacement and disposal that each piece accomplishes.
