Given the need of alternatives to the growing energetic demand, the energetic efficiency comes as an immediate alternative, cheap, causing no damage to the environment. Despite its attractiveness, it isn’t enough make decisions based only in reducing the electric power consumption, it is necessary a study to determine what energy efficiency measures are most compatible with the place of interest. Then, comes a method to called energy conservation cost curves, which is able to determine how much energy can be saved with a certain measure and the cost to implement it. To clarify the method, it is applied in a state school of the state of Paraná. The study shows the comparison between the measures, in short, medium and long term, to decide later whet her it will be applied at the consumer unit. |
