Resumo: |
Comic book stories, with the advent of postmodernity, begins to be discussed in academia not just as a textual genre for the sole purpose of entertaining, but as a means of addressing issues relevant to our society by mirroring an utopian and unreal human experience. Thus, this Concluding Course Paper aims to critically analyze the female representations in comics, from its secondary role towards male characters to the excessive and unreal sexualization of the female body. |
