Resumo: The interest of plants, especially those medicinal, has been growing up because the secundary metabolism, knowed as a mechanical of defense and survivor of plants, there are a rich composition of phenolic compounds wich have various biological activities that arouse great economic and scientific interest and with it, too many studies are developed from brutes extracts or with organic solvents to able to extract and isolate those diferents compounds for possible applications. In order to investigate the chemistry profile Syzygium malaccense, the acetone fraction was studied by fractionation and the purification, were tested two stationary phases of silica with differents granulometry (70-230 mesh and 230-400 mesh flash). The silica which provided best purification was 70-230 mesh where was possible collect 96 N-subfractions with the objective of to isolated compounds with antioxidanty capacity compproved in others studies, those N-subfractions were analysed and aggroupped of 80-83 N-subfractions because they presented the bands of the interest compounds of the study, miricitrine and compound C3. After aggroupped N-subfractions, was realized aa new purification, using molecular exclusion column (Sephadex LH-20) where were obtained 250 EM-subfractions wich after were analysed, resulted in a new aggroupament of 99-115 EM-subfractions in 3 new subfractions (DP-subfractions). Those DP-subfractions generated were applied in preparative layer chromatography to isolation of the compounds starting the process of collect of interest bands. The purity of the isolated compounds were evaluated using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Through of obtained results was possible to isolated one majority compound from S. malaccense using classics techniques chromatographys. Thus can be conclude wich techniques used in this work were be able to extrated and isolated biologically active compound wich low costs techniques, high reprodutibility and easy execution.
