For this reason, the use of prefabricated materials and inputs is increasingly common and the hiring of outsourced labor in the execution of the tasks. Thus, the present work has proposed to study the impact of these new practices on the total cost of a construction, through comparative analysis. In this analysis, the design of a single-family housing was budgeted in two distinct ways. Firstly, the construction was considered as performed in a conventional way, with their respective services carried out on-site and with their own staff. To this was compared the execution of the construction with outsourced services and prefabricated materials. Overall, the second budget presented the highest value, with a cost of 0.93% higher than the first. However, some outsourced services and the use of prefabricated materials proved to be economically viable. O setor da construção civil tem buscado nos últimos anos a modernização de seus processos. Por isso, é cada vez mais comum o emprego de materiais e insumos pré-fabricados e a contratação de mão de obra terceirizada na execução das tarefas. Assim, o presente trabalho propôs-se a estudar o impacto dessas novas práticas no custo total de uma obra, por meio de análise comparativa. Nessa análise, o projeto de uma habitação unifamiliar foi orçado de duas maneiras distintas. Primeiramente, considerou-se a obra executada de forma convencional, com seus respectivos serviços realizados in loco e com equipe própria. À essa foi comparada a execução da obra com serviços terceirizados e materiais pré-fabricados. De modo geral, o segundo orçamento apresentou o maior valor, com um custo 0,93 % maior que o primeiro.
